Curriculum Highlights
Small class sizes for more individualized instruction
Well-balanced, age and stage appropriate curriculum which encompasses the following components:
- teaches to multi-levels within the same class
- teaches to all learning styles--auditory, visual, tactile and kinesthetic
- non-sexist in format, allowing equal opportunities for boys and girls to experience traditional and non-traditional roles and activities
- multicultural--offering experiences that draw from many cultures in our world
- teaches to the nature of the young child through "hands-on" learning experiences and discoveries
Computers in each classroom
Specialty classes at no extra cost include funky fitness, music and Spanish
Extracurricular activities such as ballet, tumbling and piano lessons
Advanced kindergarten curriculum that exceeds Virginia Standards of Learning in a half-day setting
